2021 Music Meets Film Award
Jonas was awarded the first ever Music Meets Film Award first prize sponsored by Orchestral Tools. The 2021 Music Meets Film conference is organized at the Black Nights Film Festival.
Estonian National Symphony Orchestra Commission
The Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (ENSO) and the Estonian Composers Union have commissioned Jonas to write a new work for the Estonian Music Days festival opening concert on April 22, 2022 at the Estonia Concert Hall in Tallinn.
New Saxophone and Piano Work Recording Released
The premiere recording of Jonas’s new saxophone and piano work titled Pildid lapsepõlvest (Pictures of Childhood) is now available for purchase and streaming on all major platforms. The piece was recorded by saxophonist Rene Laur and pianist Joonatan Jürgenson.
