Kauge kaja is a work for choir and piano by Jonas Tarm, setting original Estonian text by Jim Ashilevi. Performed by the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir and pianist Karolina Aavik, the world-premiere recording explores distance, memory, home, and belonging. Its journey has taken the work from New York to Tallinn and now to Toronto for the opening of KESKUS International Estonian Centre.
